Gas is entering and raising engine crankcase oil levels. Concerned that software updates made by dealer will solve this issue. Worried about long term engine reliability. Honda should extend engine warranty coverage to protect us down the road.

Had oil changed by dealer. Noticed smell inside vehicle after driving home. Checked oil had smell of gasoline. Oil level has increased since checked after service. According to Honda information, car will shut itself down if oil level gets too high. If car dies on interstate, could very well cause an accident.

Gas is leaking into the oil system thus overfilling it. I have checked my vehicles oil (less than 500 miles on my car) and the oil line was way passed full. This overfilling can cause premature damage to the engine, which according to experts can cause stalling at random times which poses an immediate threat to the driver and other vehicles on the road. The dealership from which I bought my vehicle did not inform me of this issue even though they know that it is a pressing issue. Hence the reason the 2019 CR-V's have not yet been released.

Car stalls when going up parking ramp, car dies at intersection, car does not sence objects when in reverse, a blue line appears when raining and I reverse obstruction view, electronics freeze and unable to use touch screen...usually happens when raining creating a safety hazard. Brakes failed (pedal froze) in reverse. Salesman said to let it happen several more times before making a service appointment. The car has been a problem ever since I got it earlier this year...there is only 4,000 miles on it and so far, they changed the battery...explanation I was given is that Honda has bad batteries. This after changing oil one week prior and service report indicated good battery. One week after servicing, the car died and had to be towed. The service people at Honda said it was all due to a bad battery. Brakes failed due to bad battery"??" still having problems, car is stalling, panel freezes, sensors don't work...salesman said no loaners available and if you wanted a loaner when you service car, should have bought a Lexus or BMW. This after I described all the problems. Really unhappy with this car. I believe it's a major safety issue..brakes failed, panel freezes, car stalls...help!!!!! note this happened as recently as 10/5/18 but really it happened several times since I've had this car. I had it towed once when a light flashed, "brake failure" and I was unable to start the car. The battery was changed - this was in August of 2018.

Noise heard as car accelerates and decelerates. Chattering and whining sound coming from transmission as it moves through variable gears. Not related to engine or braking. Dealer gets no codes from car and testing was negative even as they drove car and took data in real time.

The contact owns a 2018 Honda CR-V. while the vehicle was parked, the gear shifter failed to fully engage and the vehicle suddenly surged at a high rate of speed. As a result, the vehicle crashed into the garage door, a wall, and into the steps near the mud room of the house. The driver was unable to slow down the vehicle. The air bags did not deploy. A police report was not filed. The driver sustained injuries to the left side of the body, including the arms, hips, back, and minor bruising. Medical treatment was not received. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the crash. The dealer was not notified. The approximate failure mileage was 6,000.

The automatic gear selector has no indicator on it. Additionally, depending on angle driver is sitting, it appears to be in a different gear or position than actual selection. I have had three near misses due to this design. From being in neutral and rolling down hill backwards when I thought I had it in drive, to being in neutral instead of park. After 30 years of driving, this is the first car I've driven that had no infictator to show what gear I was in.
