3d time for this Christmas Tree of warning lights (ACC/LKAS/Road Departure/TPMS, Collision Mitigation Brake Sys, & Brake Indicators Msg.) The fix (they say) is to "update the multipurpose camera software using the i-HDS" Since they've fixed it twice (not sure if they did this TSB fix but can't fathom they didn't), the problem still occurs randomly?? I've got 10 months of warranty left, so I'm scared I'll have repeated trips after the warranty where I'll have to pay. Wonder if I can turn all that crap off?

CR-V 1.7L Turbo

  • Automatic transmission

Since just after purchase, I have had the Honda CRV to the dealer multiple times. Nothing ever found. Warning lights, like "BRAKE!" when there is absolutely no reason to brake. I get warnings about changing lanes, when I'm not. I had the screen go blank and a "Check Antenna!" message appear. Screen also just freezes up. Dealer never finds any issues. Fun car but does weird and sometimes dangerous things.

The lane control warning system is intermittently giving warnings when getting close to lines, often not when drifting to the right (like toward the shoulder!). We have turned it completely off then back on, and with and without cruise control and nothing seems to be helping. The dealership says they did a factory reset once, but it is still intermittent. We will take it in again tomorrow for try #2 .

Once the question to us was whether we were on a curve.

NOT HAPPY - brand new car that rides well, great visibility, but we got it for the extra safety features since we do a lot of road time. My daughters equally equipped Mazda MX-9 has never needed similar 'tweaks'
