This is the third time this problem has reappeared. I first sought help from the dealer 10/2020. Unfortunately each time I take it to the dealer the problem has not appear in their shop. I have provided a poor photo of the problem to the dealer. The problem: the dashboard and radio/infocenter illumination flickers on and off and varies from black to faint to normal. This presents a dangerous situation since I drive a lot on I40 to ABQ, NM. The illumination goes off for seconds to more than an hour or until I stop driving for the day.

It does not show a pattern related to temperature or road conditions that I recognize. It may happen when I initially start the car or after driving awhile. So far the dealer acts dumbfounded and I am not reassured that they acknowledge this or have much experience in fixing electrical issues. Maybe my expectations are too high. However the service rep let slip that recently another CRV owner has a similar issue. My problem he said was unusual because there are symptoms affecting the infocenter/radio and dashboard. Disappointed in otherwise good running car. I am going to get militant with Honda before my warranty expires!
