I bought the 2018 CRV new and immediately noticed the noise. It is significantly louder than any car I've owned. It's very difficult to hear the passengers in the back seat or the passenger seat. I must turn the radio up very high in order to hear it. I have not changed the tires that came with the car but don't think I should have to! Overall, the car is way too noisy to be enjoyable - especially on longer rides and on highways. The noise does increase when I accelerate.
