The contact owns a 2019 Honda CR-V. the contact stated that on four occasions, the hood latch detached from the hood of the vehicle. The contact stated that the safety latch was used to prevent the hood from unintendedly opening while the vehicle was in motion. The vehicle was taken to winter haven Honda located at 6395 cypress garden blvd, winter haven, fl 33884, (863)508-2400, ext.212, where the hood latch was reattached however, the failure persisted. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 3.
