CR-V LX 1.5L

This is a known issue on the Honda 1.5T engines, the fuel injectors failed. I caught mine a bit early with black smoke coming from the exhaust on cold morning starts. This was after having my head gasket repaired just a few weeks before.

Both the head gasket and fuel injectors are becoming a common issue on the CR-V, do your homework before buying one. Unfortunately I can't recommend Honda to anyone anymore. The head gasket was covered under CPO warranty but it didn't cover the fuel injectors and Honda Canada said they won't cover it or help at all either, even though it's a known issue and should probably be a re-call at this point.
