Stalling out the first time May 20, 2019 -I have a 2019 Honda CRV LX 2.4L AWD. While pulling into my lot were I work, my CRV Stalled multiple times as I try to get around the lot at 10-15 MPH, it would eventually restart but had to turn it out a few times before it caught. No warning lights came on but the battery light and oil light did stay on a few seconds more than usual. When it's running and you try to give it gas, turn on AC or even turn the wheel it stalls and even after letting it idle 5 minutes it shuts off, again no check engine light and everything under the hood seems good visually. The oil dipstick did have a trace of gasoline smell on it and was higher then line. The dealership replaced the faulty fuel filter and the injectors and claimed it was contaminated gas that caused the stalling.
Stalling out a second time 3 weeks later-I was driving down a highway at 60 mph and it completely died with no warning lights or indication. I had no power steering since it completely died out didn't start again. I had AAA tow it back to the dealership that did the work before. And luckily enterprise car rental was opened so I could get on my way. When the dealership looked at the CRV all was good they couldn't find a thing wrong after having the car 5 days, other than possibly still having contaminated gas but by then I had gotten different gas.
Stalling a third time a week later- This time during a turn into my bank it completely stalled out again leaving me in danger of other cars hitting me. This stalling issue has been so frustrating and life threatening, this time they couldn't fix it they even sent Honda Techs from corporate out, kept the car 15 days, it did the stalling out on them so this was all not from contaminated gas like they originally said but something else that I probably will never know, ended up trading it in. I couldn't live with a car that would just stall out especially a brand new car whenever it felt like it. I had decided to go with another brand of car (Mazda) as I lost total confidence in Honda. The salesperson was driving my CRV and it had stalled out on them leaving them almost hitting a new car on the lot.
