I am writing a complaint for 2019 Honda CR-V. While I am aware of the fuel pump recall for this model, what is not recalled and needs to be are the multiple dashboard lights that turn on and remain lit that many owners of this model and several years earlier have not been able to find solutions for. The lights turn on regardless of having a new battery. 2017-2019 Honda CRV owners have not been able to get a clear answer from dealers, and only have been told by Honda to "go to a dealer" who is not able to give a solution. Some have reported that the issue is poor fuel inspectors that needs to be replaced. Finding answers to this is costly after already investing in a vehicle that we trusted would be safe. The multiple dashboard lights are distracting and a safety hazard, and the fact that we do not know the reason they are turning on puts us in a position of driving on the road without knowing if our vehicle will stall, break down, etc. My personal vehicle has been inspected. I am requesting, at minimum, that if a recall cannot be issued, then owners be provided at least one free diagnostic service at a Honda dealer to address an issue that was the responsibility of the vehicle maker.

I am filing a complaint regarding a premature failure of the LED turn signal on my 2019 Honda CR-V at only 81,000 miles. The turn signal is a critical safety component, and its failure presents a serious risk of accidents due to decreased visibility to other drivers. Unlike traditional bulbs that can be easily replaced, Honda-??s LED turn signals require replacing the entire headlight assembly at a cost of $1,200, which is an unnecessary and expensive repair for a basic safety feature. The failure of an LED component at this mileage suggests a defective part that should be investigated. Given that turn signals are an essential part of vehicle safety, I believe Honda should issue a recall or provide an extended warranty for this defect. Safety Concerns: -??The LED turn signal failed unexpectedly, reducing visibility and increasing the risk of an accident. -??Unlike traditional bulbs, the LED failure requires an expensive full headlight replacement, making it inaccessible for many drivers to afford repairs. Requested Action: I urge the NHTSA to investigate this issue and consider issuing a recall or safety bulletin to ensure Honda takes responsibility for fixing this problem. This is a serious safety concern, and I believe it is unfair for consumers to bear the high cost of replacing an entire headlight assembly for what should be a long-lasting LED component. I appreciate your time and consideration in reviewing this matter. Please let me know if any additional information is needed.

The turn signals rapidly flicker on & off when the CRV is parked, engine off and continued off for hours. The turn signals flicker intermittently all night every night. I informed American Honda and Headquarter Honda in Clermont, FL the symptoms exactly mirrored the symptoms of a known questionable Body Control Module that is used throughout their product line up and involved in a huge existing recall. I have a video I would like to share of the flickering lights.

Was parked on side of road. No previous warning lights. Car would not start. Unable to put on hazard lights in dark on highway. Had to be towed. All dash wearing lights on only. Was at dealer 2 months prior due to all dash lights on and power failure. Replaced battery and car was re coded per dealer. Prior to that all dash lights came on when car turned off and had to disconnect battery cable every night. Now car does not turnover when jumped and battery charged. Dealer thinks might be a smart unit and parasitic battery drain. Car only has 42000 miles on it. No hazards, worried about being rear ended. i What if there was an abrupt power failure while driving. Living in Wisconsin what if stranded in freezing temps. Unreliable car due to manufacture defects.

Driving in the early morning while it was still dark outside, I was following another car about 5 car lengths back and the automatic high beams came on. The person in the car ahead became annoyed and slammed on his brakes and proceeded to drive 5 mph until I tuned off the road. I turned off the car and headlights to reset the system. The automatic high beam system is supposed to recognize a car in front of you or oncoming headlights and automatically turn off the high beams. I brought the car to advantage Honda in manhasset, NY. They said they checked the system and it's working properly

Purchased 4 weeks ago & while driving in the rain moisture intrudes into driver side headlight causing severe fogging which reduces visibility at night. The headlight doesn't carry sufficient illumination thru the fogging to safely see forward coming traffic or road obstructions. Dealer said it was "normal" & did nothing.
