The contact owns a 2021 Honda CR-V. The VIN tool confirms zero open recalls. The contact stated that they had received notice of an unknown recall campaign in regards to Honda 1.5L vehicles having oil dilution issues. The contact had checked their vehicles engine oil, and upon checking the oil noticed that it was jet black, and smelled of gas. The contact drove their vehicle to the local dealer where the vehicle was not diagnosed, however the oil was changed. The contact was not further advised on any issues with his vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 22,500
