Same issue(s) as the others. Sticking in the steering assembly when driving at both moderate and high speeds. The sticking generally occurs when making left and right course corrections while driving straight, not just when making lane changes. Took it to the local dealership several times and they claim not to know anything about this issue and only after I produced the (easily obtained internet information) did they acknowledge the issue IN SOME CIVICS, nothing out there about CR-Vs. They have still not resolved the issue, stating they don't know if Honda will cover it since their technician didn't experience it when he drove my vehicle 15 miles.

Bought new it had 7 miles on it. I hardly ever drove on the open road just within 2 couples of my home in town. When I did drive on the open road doing 50-65 miles per hour the car was difficult to drive. Stiff steering, when steering to the left, the car would pull to the right. It didn't feel safe to drive. I didn't feel in control of the vehicle, Called the dealership three times and had them send a rollback to pick-up, it didn't feel safe to drive the 60 miles to the dealership.

They checked it out and didn't find an issue, said it was me.

I traded the CR-V at 3,009 miles for a Ford. Left it with a prayer that no one would be hurt driving it.

That automobile is not SAFE.

This is a very concerning issue - I own 3 Honda vehicles which have been extremely reliable. I drive 150 miles a day back and forth from work and have only had this vehicle for 12 months. When I started noticing the issue, it was the time of year when we get a lot of rain and wind and simply thought that was the cause but now the issue has gotten worse, I called the dealer to have it looked at. When I described the issue to the service tech, he said to me, "To be honest I know exactly what you are talking about because I had a man in today and we drove his 2023 CR-V and I felt it." He then asked me to get in the car, start it and turn the steering wheel slowly to see if it felt like the steering wheel was moving notch by notch as I turned it. YES this was the case. He then told me that he was certain it was the electronic power assisted steering box but I would have to bring the vehicle in for official diagnosis but it would be 10 days before they could get it in for an appointment. I asked him if it was safe to drive and he assured me it was no issue to be concerned about. When I took the vehicle in, the vehicle now has 37,000 miles on it (because I drive so much) and he tells me it is not going to be covered under warranty because I am past the 36k miles?????? I reported it before the 36k miles and they could not get me in plus he told me there are many of these complaints so I figured a company that makes as good a vehicle as Honda does would make it good - I guess we will see and if not I will definitely not buy another Honda.

2023 Honda CR-V EX-L with the 1.5L turbo engine. While driving back from thanksgiving dinner I noticed that the steering wheel was becoming stuck. I was also having to correct the steering significantly more than normal. Each time I would correct the steering the wheel would noticeably jerk when turned.

I took the car out the next day to test it again. While driving around curves the wheel would become stuck, and continue to make the turn without any assistance from myself. If I took my hand off the wheel the car would not correct to straight, but would continue in the left/right direction I had last steered. Several times the car actually turned in to the lane adjacent that was going in the same direction. So imagine that you were going around a right hand turn in the middle of three lanes. The car would steer in to the right lane, instead of straightening out in to the left lane. While getting off an exit I had to correct and actually got body roll. it was pretty scary.
