CR-Z EX 1.5L

A few months ago, I noticed a fairly audible rattle/vibration in the back cargo area. Upon further investigation it was determined it was coming from the rear door hatch. I took it into the local Honda Dealership and after a short time, they could not find an issue. The sound seemingly vanished while the service tech rep was with me during a test drive. However, shortly later that day, the rattle came back. Much effort was put into finding the rattle on my part.

I firmly believe it is plastic trim that aligns the trunk door hatch beneath that is causing all the grief. When pointed out again to the dealership, they just kept blowing me off. Telling me it's probably the license plate frame. Which was fixed by me and inspected by the service rep as not being a problem. They refused or avoidable looking at the door trim. There are small rubber knobs that are adjustible on the hatch, however these did not completely removed the issue. Issue has not be resolved yet at this point. To add more, when the hatch door is open, there is no vibration or rattle at all. However, when the hatch is closed, there is a rattle/vibration. Also, the rear hatch rattles when you shout the driverside/passenger side doors. When it is open, and you shut the doors, there's no rattle and it's very firm.

I believe the hatch door, or trim must be inspected or even replaced completely.
