I am not sure when this started as I was hospitalized from Nov.- June. I was able to drive till Aug. He sent me to Autoway collision and they said it was sominiz, the games beganThat tyed me up for a week or so, mind you I am very sick. Oct came and I was sent back toAutoway Honda and they sent me back to Sominiz, and we played..alilltle more Not my fault.. no not my fault. between Honda and Sominiz and we could never do a 3 way call of course. I finially lost my patience and called BBB. American Honda called and wants to fix my paint spots. I have been researching since. There is a class A suit, Black, red, blue,hunter green by honda all have these issues. I am thinking I will go in with 7/100,000 Honda Care Comprehensive warrenty and a full paint job and in door panels with my pin stripe back in silver paint that does not have these issues. This will make it easier on both parties involved. Hey it was a waste of time, aggravation, loss of my beautiful black metalic car with white wiskers, but I will have paint and not big spots of metal turn rust I hope this helps. Don't ever give up! I took my vehicle to my local Honda dealership (Zimbrick Honda - Madison, WI) to have my vehicle looked at because I notice my paint was peeling in several places (3 to be exact). They tried to tell me that my bumper was repainted, which it never was and I made them check the VIN number on the inside of the bumper cover to ensure that it was original. Then they tried to tell me that someone used rubbing compound on the bumper. Rubbing compound??? What the hell is that? I have only had my car professionally detailed, by the same guy I have used for years, and never had some idiot wax my car. They told me that they would have to submit this to Honda of America but they did not know if it would be covered or not. 35,000 miles and my paint is peeling, you have to be kidding, and it MIGHT not be covered. Honda's warranties are apparently junk, always been a big Honda fan until now. Unless they make it right, they have lost a lifetime customer.
