Civic LX 1.6L

The Engine on my 1995 Honda Civic LX 1.6 surges at times when I put it in nuteral or when it is warmed up and just ideling. This started after i used BG44 gas treatment in the gas. It has hardly done it since I have the gas treatment all used out of the gas. Could the gas treatment have caused the surging?
