My car was parked on the right had side of the road, front wheels turned towards the curb. I turned on the ignition, put the car into drive and it accelerated out of control over the sidewalk and up into a front yard, slowing down over a bonsai tree. I shifted the gears into reverse and the car accelerated backwards, still out of control (brakes didn't work) until it crashed into a tree on the sidewalk and came to a halt. I had a passenger and 2 other witnesses but Honda say they can not "duplicate" the acceleration problem.
