Last month I noticed the passenger carpet soaking wet. I check the liquid, it is clearly WATER. I checked U Tube for the usual suspects. I checked all the hoses and lines that carry the A/C or heater condensation out of the vehicle to the outside drain. I cleared the outside drain. I checked the cowling at the bottom of the front windshield to see if there was any debris blocking any of the channels. I applied Flex-Tape to the bottom of the front windshield and the window cowling to prevent any water from entering the lower window area. My windshield was newly replaced last year including all new rubber gaskets and seals.
I became curious and removed the passenger right side kick panel and peeled back the carpet. The floor has absolutely NO holes in it. When I have the engine running, there appears to be some WATER (NOT COOLANT) coming from under the rubber "kick plate" and gathers at the point where the carpet meets the kick plate. I am fearful to pull this rubber "kick plate" up due to the fact that the wires from the computer control module are to the right side of this rubber piece.
It's driving me crazy to figure out where this water is coming from.
