I happened to be driving when I noticed my car was requiring too much power to go down the road. I would have to hit the gas pedal harder to accelerate which would cause my RPMs to increase and almost go into the red. Then the check engine light came on and kept flashing. Turns out that two cylinders in my engine had been knocked out and my car was only running on 2 out of the 4 cylinders.
