I have had my car for only a few months. The car is brand new off the lot from Honda. I installed an audio system with a total cost for equipment and labor of around $5,000. I recently have been having trouble with the car starting. The battery was dying and could not figure out why. Honda has replaced the battery and alternator and the problem still occurred. I took the vehicle to my stereo installer to see if it was something to do with the stereo. They went to install a second battery dry cell into the trunk. They found a pool of water in my trunk, it had caused rusting where the ground wire was connected to the vehicle and ruined my amp rack. The amp rack was solid wood and very sturdy but after seeing it was flimsy like cardboard. The water somehow only got the bottom of the inside of the trunk wet because the tope of the inside of the trunk is not wet. I believe this is the culprit for all my problems (ie car battery, etc) I have not yet figured out where the water is coming from.
