complaint 5 about this car...hey Honda are you listening!?
I bought the car new and I take it to the dealer for everything. Oil changes on time, maintenance on time, etc. I noticed it had begun to use oil between changes. I mentioned it at an oil change and the mechanics checked it out. No leaks.
So I continue to drive it but still, it is using oil. Then my friend tells me after following me home, "You car is smoking a bit."
No no no.
So I take it back to the dealer and after running up a bill they cannot find anything amiss with this car.
I buy Hondas so I do NOT HAVE this sort of trouble..the sort of trouble that costs hundreds to diagnose and still no answer. When i read about the cracked engine block problem in this model, I feel lucky even with all this.
Toyotas are looking prettier these days. A lot prettier.

Over the past few years, I have had every test run on this car imaginable to try to figure out why it uses oil. The last time I took it in, the dealer said, "Some cars just use oil." So about every 1500 miles I have to put a quart to a quart and a half in it. Reading about all the cracked engines block complaints, I count myself lucky in this regard.
