problem #2

Dec 212018

Civic LX 1.8L V4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 174,100 miles

It started when my car started having a whining noise that got intensified directly related to the RPM's. Thought it may have been a belt, but I found the power steering fluid was low. I checked it after my car's power steering was not functioning when I started it one night. Took it to my mechanic and he found a leak coming from the return hose of the power steering pump. It was rusted and corroded. He replaced the tubing, two hose clamps, and added more fluid.

Civic EX 1.8L I-4

Third time is a charm. Brannon Honda wanted $105.00 to fix the leaking O rings again. I think it is their problem, but they won't fix it. Well, they won't see me at their dealership again. I will need a new car this year, but Brannon Honda will not see me again. Looks like Serra or Tammeron Honda.
