Civic LX

  • Automatic transmission
  • 110,000 miles

A/C blowing hot air, sometimes cold. Mechanic said failing system. Surprised it would fail on a car that wasn’t that old. Removed a spacer near the magnet and got another summer out of it, but totally failed now. Lots of issues with this Honda, will never buy another.

Civic ES 1.8L 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 70,000 miles

Bought this car in February from a Honda Dealer w/65k miles. Now have 71k miles and an A/C that doesn't work--just blows ambient air. Honda says problem is failing compressor!! Could understand if mileage was 150k-------but at only 71K?? This is good example of design-to-fail production.

Civic DX 1.8L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 144,000 miles

Traded in my 2007 Cadillac DTS, for a 2007 Honda Civic. Of course I was given a low ball trade in offer due to Cadillac's terrible resale value, but was sold on Honda's great quality and the mpg.

Well, MPG on this vehicle is NO WHERE near the advertised mileage and the car has nickle and dimed me from the moment I drove off. Unfortunately, I did not opt for the warranty and now I have some serious a/c issues with a vehicle that is only 5 yrs old and supposed to be of superior quality. A/c blows cold half the time, the other half its hot. It nearly kills the car when coming to a stop sign, and is making some seriously funky sounds, and is jerky as all hell. It's almost like putting someone who doesn't know how to drive a manual in the seat and saying "drive". I hate this car, and I'm now upside down on it thanks to trading in my amazing Cadillac for this pile of junk.

Civic EX V4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 27,000 miles

I just bought this Stupid 2007 Honda Civic EX Looked very pretty and Reliable. SO I went and bought it . Changed the Tires even though it only had 27000 Miles on it weird that the rubber was bold . Bought 4 Coopers front and back 700$ at Pepboys (ripoff) Than Found out that Civics this year have uneven tire wear because of rear control arm in too high from the other one . I was really sad and than the week after I picked up from the shop my AC went out I was disappointed and said hey AC dont work they Replaced the whole unit since it was within 30 days after I bought it . 2 weeks later AC went out AGAIN . Freon Level was full and High Pump and FAN working Great . I don't know what the problem is so I called the shop up and said the AC dont work any more and Its getting pretty worm here in California now. They told me to come up there so they can see whats wrong and they will pay half to fix it so now I have to drive 400 Miles to get it fixed and Thinking of my Uneven tire Wear Kind Of making me very Depressed so I just put the car up on Craigslist and hoping I would sell it and Buy a Hyundai or something . Loved Hondas but not any more Will never buy a Honda again .

I called the service department and they sayd that it may be a problem on the engine design, here in Arizona this should not be acceptable I will take the car the dealer to have them inspect the problem.
