Noticed no sound from the rear speakers, so I used the built-in radio adjustment feature to direct the sound exclusively to the rear speakers. Static. That's it. I sat there in dead silence, shocked at how the rear speakers were just playing static the whole time I was jamming out to my tunes. Later that night, I used a multimeter to test the resistance on the speaker terminals and read 600 ohms. It's supposed to be at 4 ohms...
I'm guessing they went out b/c they are facing the sun directly, so something must have melted/failed internally. Hitting them with a hammer did not help. Best option is to replace them. My sound system is fully stock, and nothing has been modified or upgraded.
