Couldn't believe the visor broke and Honda just said "we'll order another one" like it happens every day. Also interior has some flaws. Complaint I entered on the suspension had wrong mileage. It was probably around 16,000 when they had to replace the rear control arms & give us 2 new tires.
Got this car for the MPG and at least that has not been a disappointment. Hope this car lasts. Our '04 Escape with over 115,000 has had no problems. That Fusion is looking mighty good.

Sun visor fell off. Dealer refused to fix, as the warranty for the car is over. Offered to pay half of the charge, as the sun visor for '07 civics has not yet been recalled.

I called anyone who would listen ... Of course they would listen and acted like I was the only one who had this problem ... As if it was crazy and my sun visor was breaking apart ... I located this website and now realize I had been lied to and Honda refuses to deal with this problem ... Still unsure how to proceed ... Guess I need to budget for a yearly sun visor replacement or get rid of the car ... I did forward this website to the owner of the local Honda dealer ... I now have their attention ... but tomorrow will decide "To Pay or Not To Pay"

This is the SECOND time my driver's side visor has split - just like the first time last year when it was still under warranty. AND, the passenger side is now broken (first time for it). The dealer now wants $70.00 APIECE to replace both visors - and I get the same visor in return for my money....I told him to keep their crappy visors.
Yes - the heavy duty binder clip works - and fortunately they're black to match the exterior of my car...and that's just a joke!!! .... this is unacceptable my car is barely two years old and looks like junk now

This is a very poor design. I have had "spring loaded" visors before on other makes of cars and never had an issue. The spring contained in this visor eventually split the seam and made raising the visor two-hands required...interesting when driving down the road!

The sunvisors on my 2007 civic come down but cannot get them back up unless I hold onto the base with alot of pressure and swing them up, you can actually feel it click into place.

Seems like 2007 Hondas are having the same problem with their cheap plastic window visors. The cheap plastic breaks at the seam for no apparent reason and then you are unable to keep the visor up - it flops down blocks your vision field while driving - very dangerous. I love Honda because of their high-quality reputation but this has been a show stopper. I think they need to recall and replace so nobody else has to deal with this issue. I live 35 miles away from the dealer - what a pain!

This car was the first "new" car I have bought off the floor of the dealership. I am disappointed in the problems I have had with this model. I've replaced both sun visors 3 times, the dealer does not charge to replace, however, this is a SAFETY issue if I were to get into an accident at the time its broken, it is level to my forehead and I'm short so I have to sit closer to the wheel. I've told my daughter, if I ever get my head split open due to the visor, contact an attorney. Now, the other problem, I'm taking the car in tomorrow because on a road trip, in pouring rain, my AC stopped working, I will give an update as to what they tell me the problem is! to be continued....

I went to my dealership and they acted as though I was stupid and that is was my fault for my driver side sun visor being broken. they said it would cost 80 dollars to replace plus 20 for installing. Why should I have to pay 100 or so dollars to replace something that is just going to break again? That’s crap give them hell don let them push you around you shouldn’t have to pay a sh*t load of money for something that is just going to break.

Ive had to replace 3 cracked driver side sunvisors on my 2007 Honda. DON'T LET ANYONE TELL YOU IT IS JUST A HEAT PROBLEM. I live in Central California, hardly ever get real hot weather. Honda at 1-800-999-1009 acted like I was only one that has problem. Refused to guarantee after warranty is over. Look on internet. Massive complaints about sunvisor. We should not be penalized because they use cheap parts. This is a safety issue. This problem started with their 2006 models and they still havent fixed it.
Don't let them get away with this: Write complaint directly to Tetsuo Iwamura, CEO of Honda Motor Co. Inc., Mail Stop 500-2N-7A, 1919 Torrance Boulevard, Torranc, California 90501-2746. Let him know if you dont get satisfaction, you will file complaint with National Highway Traffice Safety Administration (NHTSA) at http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/ivoq/index.cfm and Consumer Product Safety Commission at http://www.cpsc.gov/. You can file complaint on line.

The visor on the driver side snaps open and cracks up on top. It is a cheap plastic part. I my bought the vehicle about 1 and 1/2 year ago and it already happened twice. Since the car is under warranty the dealer has replaced it both times free. Second time it cracked open only in couple years. Not sure why they have plastic casing to pull it up and down as it is common sense that plastic will crack opne if you regularly pull it up and down to protect from sun light. Once it cracks open it hangs loose down and very much disturbing to your natural view of the road. This is a small problem but big pain in the rear..... My biggest worry is once the car is off the warranty if this keeps on happening I will end up spending big money this stupid little part........ Planning to file complaint with Honda Motors USA

The driver side visor separated when you move it to block the sun. At first I could push it together. Now it will not go together and the visor hangs limp, blocking my view. Time off work to have it replaced. Have had other friends with the same problem. Dealer says heat causes problem and we are in Phoenix. I have read many many complaints of this problem from all over.

I bought a Honda because everyone I know who has had one has been THRILLED with the quality of the car. Now here I am, one year later barely able to see in the early morning or evenings when driving to and from work because of the Sun Visor #1 wouldn't remain in the up or down position and then, #2, literally split in half and fell off in my lap.
What a joke. I called the closest Honda dealer - too bad...warranty is done..estimate at least $200.00 to fix.I wrote a letter to the Corporate Headquarters a few weeks ago and am waiting for a response. This is nuts - you can't drive if you can't see properly - I am almost 50 - have owned many cars over the years. NEVER had a sun visor problem in my Ford -
