Civic LX 1.8L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 89,000 miles

It was definitely about time to have the bulbs replaced, but I was not expecting the burn out to be a BLOW OUT. The passenger's side high beam bulb BLEW UP. Now, not only is my headlight full of rattling broken glass, but the blow up also scratched the hell out of the reflecting material in the headlight.

My dealership said it would be over $100 to remove the headlight and clean the glass out, and this would not even fix the permanent damage done to my headlight.

It bothers me that this has occurred. The light switch has been replaced. Currently, the windshield wipers will not operate.
