Civic LX

  • Automatic transmission
  • 118,000 miles

THIS IS NOT THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE HAD SINCE PURCHASING THIS VEHICLE USED IN 2011. I WILL NEVER EVER PURCHASE ANOTHER HONDA.,

IT IS BAD ENOUGH THAT I AM TERMINALLY ILL, BEING DIAGNOSED WITH A VERY AGGRESSIVE FORM OF MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS. MY FAMILY AND I ARE BARELY MAKING ENDS MEET, LOSING ALMOST EVERYTHING. THE DOCTORS HAVE GIVEN ME 5 YEARS OR LESS. TOOK THE VEHICLE TO GET INSPECTED TODAY, AND OF COURSE, INSPECTION FAILED. THIS IS GOING TO COST US A FORTUNE THAT WE DO NOT HAVE.

AS A NORMAL PERSON WHO IS NOT MECHANICALLY INCLINED, THIS PROBLEM IS NOT VISIBLE. THE POWER STEERING FLUID IS ACTUALLY POURING OUT OF THE CAR WHEN BEING DRIVEN, HOWEVER, IT FLIES BACK, THUS YOU DO NOT SEE A PUDDLE OF THE FLUID ON THE GROUND.

HOW LONG HAS THIS PROBLEM BEEN GOING ON? I AM NOT SURE. WHEN INSPECTED LAST YEAR, THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG.

IF I DID NOT STILL OWE $7,000+ ON THIS VEHICLE, I WOULD 1) LET THE BANK HAVE IT BACK OR 2) TRADE IT FOR SOMETHING ELSE. HOWEVER, THANKS TO ALL OF MY MEDICAL BILLS AND TRYING TO HOLD OUR HEADS ABOVE WATER, I AM UNABLE TO DO EITHER. WE ONLY HAVE 15 DAYS FROM TODAY TO GET THIS FIXED.

ONLY 41,000 miles on my 2007 Honda Civic EX and the starter goes out?

Look like Honda is saving money on making cheap starters cause this repair is going to cost me over $530. This is my last honda.

I'm NOT happy at all :(

Problem #8 - in less than a week, after retorquing the power steering bolts, they replaced the axle. Why wasn't this done to begin with. I dropped off my car with my satellite radio (that I had Best Buy install on 5/1/08 and upgraded the radio on 5/15/11) that was working, only to pick my car up 2 days later with the radio working once and that was all. I took it back but, of course, they won't assume any responsibility. I took it to Best Buy same day after I told my dealer what kind of car and service I had gotten, and Best Buy told me the radio was "fried." The fuse was blown and they said it probably was due to the way they reconnected the battery after replacing the axle. Honda Monroeville PA doesn't want to deal with older cars. I am treated so different than when it was new.

Clicking noise when steering wheel was turned. Honda replaced right front axle. Another issue we would be dealing with we later found out.
