Civic 4-cyl

  • Automatic transmission

Had a flat tire two times when our car touched the curb. The car was traveling below 10 mph when the tire touched the curb. Both the times the edge of alloy wheels of my Honda Civic cut through the tire exactly at the point of the pressure. This happened twice. We also have a Honda Accord and this happened a few times but never had a flat tire. The wheels are stock wheels and edges of the wheels are not curved out as most of the vehicles have them. Since the edges are not curved out the weight of the car along with the uncurved edges causes the tire to be cut.
