The Armrest leather started to loosen. The leather looked disconnected from the actual armrest and started lifting, then in time... tearing. Also, the same leather material on the right side panel of the driver seat has started to peel as well. This process is inconvenient and I would have much rather purchased the fabric interior had i known the leather wouldn't last 5 years.

This is the third time in three years that the leather on my car has started to peel. I get my leather seats conditioned from a suggested Honda product regularly and always use my sun visor being that I live in Las Vegas, NV. The white meshing under the leather is intact, healthy, and conditioned. It is he exterior layer "the grey leather" that is peeling off. NOT cracking... PEELING. The dealership has had to replace it once, but twelve months later it happened to the same seat, same spot, same scenario. I can only replace it if I come out of pocket $130.00 The problem is, is that no one EVER sits in my passenger seat and that is the seat that has been PEELING since 2011. Why should I come out of pocket for a product that CAN NOT be GUARANTEED and will peel again in twelve months or less! I am starting a claim, will be contacting corporate, and my lawyer about the matter. I have leather jackets that have lasted twice as long as the seats in my car. Shape up Honda, your product is not what it used to be.

less than a week after buying BRAND NEW CAR, i realized that the fabric on the inside section (next to shifter) was flapping off side of seat. Honda needed car for entire day as this was not a paying job for them, so they couldn't "schedule" time to take care of it. That was THEIR words, not mine. They had to replace entire bottom section of seat w/a new one.
