My car was in the dealership for a recall repair and every since then the SRS light seems to come on. The SRS light first came on when I had a passenger in the passenger side getting out from the car exiting it the car the car is a 2010 with 35000 miles it's a one owner car never in an accident and repaired always at the dealer all service history. The only person that's mess with this system is the dealer who's tried to repair and get the light off SRS light and still is not fixed wanting me to pay almost $1,800

The contact owned a 2010 Honda Civic. While driving 20 mph, the contact's vehicle slid on a piece of ice and crashed into another vehicle and a guardrail. The air bags deployed after the crash. The contact also mentioned that the seat belt did not lock when the brake pedal was depressed. The contact sustained whiplash and injuries to the head from the steering wheel. Medical attention was received. A police report was filed. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and then later towed to the contact's insurance company where it was deemed destroyed. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer for diagnostic testing. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 109,416.

Other driver slammed into rear of my car at about 30 mph. I recall going forward inside my car but it seems seat belt did not tighten. Turns out my driver's seat frame was broken in the accident and my best guess is entire driver's seat was going forward. Don't know if this is usual or not. I've not heard of it. Also, would like to know whether the fact that the entire driver's seat was moving forward is reason seat belt did not tighten.

Front end collision between 35 and 50 mph. Heavy front end damage. Air bags deployed. However, the right rear seat belt did not restrain the passenger properly. Passenger was found in the floor board with the seatbelt around her. Expert investigating the accident noticed a defect with the seat belt not properly restraining.
