Power steering fluid was leaking on the ground so I took it to a guy. He put a new power steering pump on and it was still leaking so he said the power steering pump was defective. Put a second one on and I then it was still leaking worse so I took it to a certified mechanic. He put a new rack and pinion in and then told me the rack and pinion must have been defective. So we had to put a second rack and pinion in and then he also put a third power steering pump on there and it is still having issues when turning left. It's real tight turning right? It's real loose. Nothing but a pain in the ass

It is my daughters car I'm telling you about. She bought it brand new. She was driving her baby to daycare before work and her power steering went out only one direction. She called me because she almost wrecked her car. She calls and tells me about it so I called the place where we bought it from because they give a free rental car. They told me get the car there and they would take care of it.

I got there and the person told me it was a valve in the rack & pinion steering. I was told they would have to order the part. They got it done I helped her go pick it up. On the way home the front end started to shimmy. So we were upset but they were already closed. We get to my house and my daughter decided to leave. She came right back in and said it is bad again. I went outside and there was power steering fluid under the car.

We had to take the car back to find out the rack & pinion they just replaced blew out a seal and they had to replace it all over again. I love Honda and own an Accord myself but this is a little scary. It was all fixed for free but I hope it don't happen again.
