Civic LX 1.8L

Never had a problem before with any of the cars that I had own in the past. I had a Toyota for 12 years no major problems. This Honda is only six years old, 73000 miles. Driven around town, a couple long distance trips that's about it. Why would only one of the front bearing go bad?
