A 2012 HONDA CIVIC , BOUGHT LAST YEAR PERFECT CONDITION WITH 24000 THOUSANDS MILES. FOUND SMALL PROBLEM WITH TRANSMISSION , IT JERK A LITTLE WHEN WHEN ACCELERATING AT SLOW SPEED FROM 0 TO 10. HONDA SAID IT IS NORMAL ON CVT TRANSMISION. NOW A YEAR LATER NOVEMBER 2016 MY TRANSMISION DIED OF A HEARD ATTACK. I CALL HONDA BOCH IN PROVIDENCE R.I THEY SAID THE COST OF THE TRANSMISION ALONG IS $5,938.00 WITH OUT LABOR.NO WARRANTY AND NO MONEY TO PAY. STILL PAYING THE BANK FOR THIS STUPID CAR.

car just stalls when put into gear
2002 Honda Civic with only 120,000 miles. Transmission went. Car starts but when put into gear it stalls. Mechanic says it needs new transmission to the tune of about $3,000 +.... Not worth fixing.

Car shifter linkages broke. Seems to be made cheaply. Lots of plastic. Left me stranded. Had to have car towed to mechanic.
