The long strip of rubber than runs along the roof of the car came off while driving on the freeway. There is one on each side; the driver's side one is the one that came off. I believe it only exists for looks, as there is nothing underneath it except for the groove that it fits into. I've never had a piece of a car's trim come off before.
The rubber strip has a metal clip on each end, and those clips connect to a pin that is welded to the car's body. The clip that is connected to the rubber strip failed. I went to the Honda dealership to get a replacement clip, and they don't sell them. I had to buy a whole new rubber strip, with the clips attached. Thankfully it was only $25 and very easy to put on; only takes about 15 seconds.
