I picked up my car on a bright sunny day from the dealer. It had been washed but not dried and awaited the finish of our transaction inside a holding area next to the showroom. I walked around the car and sat in the drivers seat but did not lift the hood or really do any close inspection.. why should I it was new. At that time I didn't know the car already had 235 miles on it. The salesman was friendly and helped me set up the blue tooth feature on the car. He put the temporary license in the rear window and explained a lot of the features of the car. I left the dealership and drove to nearby friends house to show them my new car. They leased a similar 2013 Honda. My friend walked outside and admired my upgraded model of what they had leased. He then asked me 'whats this?' He walked right up to the car and found a flaw in the door that had been painted over. Of course I said O chit and planned to bring it up with the dealer when I returned for my plate and a bumper aplicay which was on order. Then he looked more and there was what appeared to be paint chips and scratches on the deck lid. Well again I planned to discuss this with the dealer to have the problem fixed. The weather turned sour and I did not get a chance to do a real through inspection myself. But after all of these marks I surely planned to.
If you have read my previous complaints I would like to add that in talking with the service dept manager he was more concerned that I wasn't going to give the dealership a 100% satisfaction approval than addressing my paint complaint.

GREAT DISAPPOINMENT WITH MY FAVOURITE CHOICE OF CAR – HONDA CIVIC PKV 1679.
With reference to the above, I, Balvinder Kaur d/o Charan Singh, IC 680210-07-5222 would like to inform you that I purchased Honda Civic 1.8L (S) 1-VTEC, PKV 1679 on 23 November 2012 from Mr Brandon, a salesman from Tian Siang Auto, 99 Jalan Kuala Kangsar, Ipoh Perak.
2. For your information, I was amazed to find out that there were small black spots around the Honda Civic. I informed Mr Brandon immediately. He advised me to polish the car in Honda Service center. Unfortunately, the black spots didn’t disappear. I was again asked by Mr Brandon to send the Honda Civic for polishing which in fact made the paint of Honda Civic even worst. The paint was uneven, black sports and untidy. I was even more frustrated to see the condition of the car.
3. My happiness to be the owner of the latest Honda Civic model vanished. My family and I are extremely disappointed with my favourite choice of car. Our friends and we couldn’t believe that Honda Company which is well-known could produce cars with such kind of problem. Therefore, I feel that I have been cheated after paying so much not only by the Honda Civic Company but also by the advertisements which claims that Honda Civic has the best qualities which are guaranteed for 5 years. Actually the Honda Company provided cheap and low quality of paint. I came to know from the salesman that there were other Honda Civic cars which had the similar problem. Hence, I truly believe all the advertisements about the excellent qualities of Honda Civic are actually misleading the public. If I would had known that I would encounter such a problem, certainly I would had bought a car from TOYOTA instead which is also my favourite.
4. I would be satisfied if you could kindly provide me with the same brand new Honda Civic model or refund full sum and also all other expenses occurred during this period to me because of this problem (phone calls,transport and etc.) I totally disagree with the suggestions to repaint the car which is very unfair to first hand buyer. I would grateful and appreciate if you could kindly look into this matter and solved it as soon as possible as now I do not have any transport to go to work or to run my daily errands.
