This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Honda dealer.
After only two years and about 30,000 kilometers, my Civic had more paint chips than my 2007 Hyundai Entourage with 250,000 km
The paint seems paper-thin. I take pride in keeping my car clean, clay bar and wax once or twice/yr and regular washes and I disgusts me to see all these chips on my paint. I do touch-ups, but touch-ups does not replace a good paint job. Looks like Honda cheaped out on the quality of their paint unless this only happens to White civics.

I have a 2013 Honda Civic LX Coupe - Color Black - and I can see that the paint is slowly flaking off in small areas... and probably will get very bad in a few years... and may have to be redone / repainted... arrrrgggh !!
There is NO WAY MY HONDA CIVIC COUPE CAR PAINT should be flaking... I take VERY good care of the body paint by very careful waxing with microfiber towels and very light touch application wax and washing once a week... It does not sit in the sun... but i have spots all over the car that are flakes from the past two years that SHOULD NOT BE THERE !!!
I can see this all over the car there are areas where the paint is flaking... i bought Honda because of the concept of quality... Wrong... !!
I will let everyone i know on the web know this and 1000's more by posting on blogs, forums and car articles. !
