In May, I experienced a sudden Spring downpour. I was driving on the highway and began slowing down due to the intensity of the rain. I did not touch my brakes but rather just laid off the gas then all of a sudden I began hydroplaning and completed a couple of 360's ending up facing the on coming traffic hitting the guardrail hard enough to just cause minor fender dents and pissing my pants.

This was not the only time I have experienced hydroplaning on the highway. Recently, while returning from a trip there was a light sprinkle. The roads were barely wet but again, I began hydroplaning. Luckily, I felt the slight slipping before it became a severe issue and slowed down to a crawl until I passed through to dry road.

I am glad I am not the only who has experienced this with this car/tires. I know I am a mindful and careful driver and skillful enough to control my vehicle but these hydroplaning episodes leaves me feeling really unsafe and insecure in my car which is not an experience that I enjoy. I love driving. I love my Honda. But now I need to shell out extra money for tires that are safer and I should not have to with a nearly new car.
