This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Honda dealer.
I have had the no audio issue 4 times now, 3 after the software update. Honda still has not fixed it and refuses to replace the amp that is unique to the touring model which is the only model with this issue. Dealer did a reboot which consists of holding the power button for 10 seconds and selecting reboot. This will bring back audio until it fails again.

I bought my 2016 Honda Civic Touring on 7/22/16 with 4900k miles on it. Today 8/19/16, less than a month and I have no audio. I've tried to reboot the system and turn the car off and then on, but nothing. It's super annoying. I called the dealer to make an appointment but they are working two weeks out. Service Tech acted like he never heard of this issue and said they would pull all the electrical out. Not sure I want them going through all that...
