I started seeing mysterious dents appear in the left and right C Pillars. This is the area just above the rear window and a few inches to the rear.

The mysterious dents appear on the left and right side. I started researching the cause of the mysterious dents. So far what I have found is that the metal of the car in this area is extremely thin. During my research, I have visited a number of Honda dealers. I wanted to see if the new Civic were coming from the factory with dents in the C pillar. I was surprised to see the dents on the new Civic’s. Not all of them had dents but allot did. We had the dents removed by a paint less dent remover process. This works nice but in a few months the dents were back. So far the only explanation the dealer has offered is that the carwash is causing the dents. When I ask them why his new cars on the lot has the same dents they had a deer in the head light look. I ask for more information on the C Pillars. What is thickness of the Pillars now and before?
