My exact time and mileage are not correct for when I first observed the third brake light housing had fallen. I took it in when I received my recall for the tail lights took my car in and they fixed my third brake light cover, for about untill that night it had fallen again. Will take in this week or next. It suck blocks half my windshield and at night when you hit your brakes the hole back glass goes red.

interior housing for rear break light won't stay fixed
Apparently, the interior rear brake light housing is affixed to the rear window with Velcro tabs. Now that the outside temperature has reached 80+ degrees, the adhesive keeps melting and the housing won't stay affixed to the rear window. The dealer replaced the strips once already, but it seems to me that they need to utilize a better adhesive product. I know that 3m makes all weather adhesive strips...why isn't Honda using a quality product like this?!?!
Update from Oct 12, 2016: I'm still waiting for a fix to this problem. The dealership assures me that Honda is redesigning the unit.
