Experiencing surging over 45 trying to stay at steady speed - - nauseating feeling in stomach from it.

Soon after delivery in January 0f 2016, I noticed that the engine surges at rate of about 50 rpms when operating at a steady speed above 45 mph. Dealer says this is just the way the car is with the CVT transmission. I don't remember this rocking motion being part of the sales pitch when I bought the car. Not pleased.

When doing speeds over 45mph while maintaining a steady speed the vehicle will start surging 50-100rpms causing the car to surge back and forth in a rocking motion. Honda and the dealer says disconnecting battery will remedy the issue but it is only a temp fix. Many owners report the issue returning in under 1k miles. Dealer also tried claiming the transmission may be learning, the car has now AI and only does what its programmed to do and responds to what the sensors tell it. This is effecting only the 1.5 turbo models so far.

Before I bought this car, I checked this site and saw that some people had problems with surging, but I wasn't sure what that was. Now I'm all too familiar with it. I love the car otherwise, but this really is annoying. I haven't taken it to Honda yet. I'd like to see if others have had the problem too.
