Steering becomes jerky and tends to stick after driving around for more than 20 minutes. Rather than a smooth turn of the steering wheel it requires a bit extra force to free up the steer wheel to make even minor adjustments. Driving at highway speeds to make a minor adjustment to stay in my lane requires a bit of extra force to free up the "stuck" steering wheel before I make the minor adjustment, but to make the minor adjustment the extra force required to free up the stuck steering wheel sometimes causes a major adjustment like drifting into another lane. I've determined that this normally occurs after the car has been driven for 20-30 minutes. Happens at highway speeds as well as just driving around town. Purchased car Nov 2019 this issue has been happening shortly after I got the car I realized it while traveling from Texas to Arkansas.had an alignment bought new tires thinking that was the problem. Still did help.

As I drove the car off the lot they tried to say it ''twas bad tires they replaced it when it was really the wheel bearings. And I'm in finance with no background in car mechanics and I knew there was something wrong as soon as I drove of the lot. And then they tried to say who would have known but several of my friends and mechanics said it wasn't obvious so they fixed it. I then told them beforehand I got the vehicle purchased that I required a state inspection to make sure it fell under the inspection rules of Texas and they swore and signed off on paperwork that this was done on two separate work forms. Well while I was driving I was ran off the road as my horn didn't function at all after they had sworn they had done two inspections at this point and I have the paperwork to prove it. I could have lost my life in an accident if I had no drove off in the shoulder and the. I come back to the dealership and they try to say it wasn't them and that it could have stopped working on its own which I find very suspicious. They then threatened to not fix my car when I said three needed to take the car back as they are not living up to the standards set dortrh. I also had the car stereo and electronics go wild and they wouldn't stop urninf on music and turning it to max volume and it wouldn't stop til I shut the car of whic is super distracting when I'm trying to drive.

Lug nuts are self loosening. I do understand that lug nuts should be checked periodically. However, with 12,000 miles I have had two tighten nuts on three occasions. In particular the right front wheel. I first noticed a clicking sound when making a turn, that clicking would go away after a mile or so then after a week or two turned into brake grinding. Went to check the brakes and discovered the tire was loose and it was the wheel rocking back and forth making the clicking sound. The caliper not being aligned with the rotor would grind until the car was driven a few blocks and the grinding would cease. I now recognize the symptoms and correct it immediately. I suspect this is not an isolated case and a definite safety hazard.

With only 18,461 miles on my tires, and still 6/32 as of very recent Honda service visit my rear drivers tire blew out while driving on the freeway going 72mph. I very loud pop, no tire indicator displayed and the tire had discenegrated. Very scary! this should not have happened, even according to my last tire inspection.

Feels like the wheels are going to fall off I have taken it to several other mechanics and they say its throwing codes for electronic stability control electric power steering and the electric parking break but 3 dealerships say the vehicle is fine

Tire pressure monitor problem. After replacing (2) flat tires over a 3 month period with the same brand, model, size and style of tire as the oem, I now get a tire pressure monitor warning constantly illuminated, even after checking tire pressures and recalibrating the TPMS. According to Honda dealership this is a known issue with Honda TPMS systems since the system uses wheel speed not sensors to detect differences in tire pressures. As a result there is no known solution other than to replace multiple tires at once. What is supposed to be a safety feature / convenience is now a nuisance

Vehicle was involved in a front end/side collision. When told by collision shop the vehicle was finished and upon coming in to pick up the vehicle, obvious structural damage remained untouched, and unrepaired engine damage was obvious. Collision shop and insurance company insisted vehicle repairs were complete and fought me to take the vehicle to the Honda dealership for diagnostic. When the vehicle was finally taken, the check engine light was on and a dtc code was thron. Additional issues with the integrity of the vehicle post collision were noted and both collision shop and insurance company refuse to acknowledge safety issues and repair the vehicle to safety standards. Neither the collision shop nor the insurance company is familiar with the new 2016 Civic body, diagnostics, crash zones, and Honda position statements issued for the particular model. The vehicle was specifically purchased for a newly licensed driver, with safety being the top priority. The vehicle is no longer safe and it would be tragic to have another accident, where the other driver is at fault, with a much worse outcome because the integrity of this this vehicle is compromised due to inadequate repair. Unfortunately I cannot load all the repair photos, but the hood is not fitted, the pillars are buckled, the foot rockers/ floor pan is loose.

Takata recall hey, my car Honda Civic coupe broke down in September reason was tire and brake I think. I was driving in regular speed and my tire blowoff and brake didn't work in same time. I run over the hill and broke my both excel.

Brand new 2016 Honda Civic - my family has purchased 2 of these vehicles same exact ex-L model in the last month just different colors. Both TPMS sensor lights have come on within the first few hundred miles of driving the cars!

Bought the car in mid February and it began to read "brake system problem" once the car was turned on and stationary a few weeks after. I took it to the dealership in March and they "cleared" the codes and test drove it. In April, the same error appeared but now with more errors such as "tire pressure low, brake system problem, charging system problem and anti lock brake system problem." I took it to the dealership once again and they replaced the "ABS modulator" and "cleared" the codes. Once again a month later (June), the same errors are appearing.

Computer system had a major malfunction, triggering 6 different warnings, and an audible message to immediately pull over and park the vehicle and have a dealer inspect the vehicle. This happened after filling up the vehicle with gas. My family was in the vehicle with the car in accessory mode, listening to the radio. After finishing up fueling, about five minutes later, I returned to the vehicle. I got in, shut the door, put my foot on the brake, pressed the button to start the vehicle, put on my seat belt, and then saw the messages. After a few minutes with the car on and reading the messages, a voice started to talk and tell me, to stop the vehicle, park it, and have a dealer look at it. The 6 messages on the center display said various things. Such as they were titled: Adaptive cruise control problem the pressure monitor system cmbs problems anti-lock brake system problem tire pressure low brake system problem the alarming number of problems about the brake system alone, tells me this vehicle should not be driven. Combine that with the audiable message about pulling over and parking the vehicle, no one in their right mind is going to drive it until it is properly looked at. The dealer did look at it, and said it was the vsa modulator, and needed to be replaced. However, there is case after case of this not fixing the problem found online. Yet people and their families, including mine are being sent back onto the road in these vehicles of which Honda has not and cannot provide a fix for because it, itself does not know what the problem is. Any therefore no one knows if their car is crying wolf, and just waiting to kill them. I don't want my car if I can't trust it. I just can"T wager my families lives on that. They are willing to tell us to drive around in the vehicle even before the first repair is tried. The errors are related to brakes
