problem #2

Civic LX 2.0L/122

  • Manual transmission
  • 8,000 miles

Windshield seems like weak glass. A light tap on the windshield resulted in two very large cracks that spanned the entire width of the windshield. The cracks continued to walk rapidly resulting in needing a rental car until the glass could be reordered. This is not an inexpensive windshield.

Civic LX 1.5L Turbo

  • CVT transmission
  • 1,000 miles

I just had bought this car, and instantly fell in love with it. That being said, I experienced problems very quickly. I was driving with about 1000 miles on it and a rock struck my windshield. Which is not problem, but what happened next is. That crack spread the length of my windshield within the next 10 minutes, the preceded to spread up and down, off of the original crack. You can literally push the windshield in and hear it crack more. That windshield is a piece of garbage. You would think the windshield would be covered in Bumper to Bumper Coverage, considering its between the two. I am going to try and get something done about it, but am not expecting much.
