problem #1

Civic EX 2.0L

  • CVT transmission
  • 60,201 miles

This is the second time after doing a scheduled service at a cost of $1500 dollars that included transmission oil replacement, coolant replacement, brake flush, 4 tires replacement, alignment and wheel balance, and throttle body cleaning and reprogram. Two days later a spark plug coil failed, and was replaced by warranty got the car, and two days later the alternator problem which was not carried under warranty - so another $900 plus for its replacement. Not happy with Hondas, seems that quality has gone down the drain. How is it possible for an alternator to fail mechanically at 60k with bad bearings? CHEAP PARTS that costs the user a lot. I called Honda and complained heavily. I am mad.
