Civic LX 2.0L

Issue arose due to no action or fault of my own. Issue has persisted without resolve for over a year. I do not have the funds available to repair, nor should I be held to bear the cost of an issue born from poor and/or defective automotive parts installed by Honda. It is the sole responsibility of automobile manufacturer to insure the safety and effectiveness of its product. Honda bears the obligation of repairing/replacing defective, faulty, and/or error-prone parts. Under federal law, car manufacturers and auto part suppliers are liable for injuries, damages, and deaths caused by defective cars and dangerous auto parts. Honda knew, or should have known, and surely knows now that the fuel lid actuator on Honda Civic models (2016-2020) is defective. Replacement cost, including part (74700-TBA-A02) and labor averages between $132-$142. Buzzing sound is annoying, can possibly cause damage to hearing, draws unwanted attention to vehicle, and can cause fuel latch door to lock.
