Honda says this is a feature to allow you to open windows and sunroof remotely to let hot air out.

It has apparently been around for a long time.

If it is in fact a feature you should be able to disable it, but apparently you can't.

Once windows are down, they can not be remotely rolled back up and the car doors are still locked, so you have to unlock the car, get in and turn on ignition to roll them back up (if you have window lock toggled on, you have to toggle it off before the rear and passenger windows can be raised).

Doubt that there is a fix to this that Honda is going to consider, so what I am really hoping for is a workaround.

Some sort of case for the key so that buttons can't be accidentally pressed. Kind of like a flip phone style clam shell arrangement.
