The contact stated while driving at approximately 25 MPH, the contact heard an abnormal popping sound and became aware that the passenger-??s side rear-view mirror had detached from the vehicle. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the passenger-??s side rear-view mirror needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 16,842.
