The steering wheel locking up during driving randomly without warning this cause me to crash into the sidewalk during my right turn damaging my right side lower bumper and front wheel cracked so I already replaced the wheel with a new refinished one. This issue is a non stop problem I would really appreciate if HONDA reconsider all trim not just Sport and Touring as my car is an EX-L model which I paid for Touring price so I want to be help too. I already took it to the dealership and they didn't fix it and just joy ride my car caught it on dash cam even the sound of the wheel locking up too. GOUDY HONDA ALHAMBRA inspected my car. This was an on going issue since I test drove the car and I call it out and the salemen told me its normal which I knew it isn't, but I waited 3 month for this pre-order car so I'm not going to not take it. Please help me fix this issue as its should be under warranty, but dealership state they won't do anything unless the issue is serious which I don't feel safe driving my new honda.

The steering system has failed and also the brake system. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. The Steering wheel appears to be sticky, so I personally have encountered a few near miss incidents where I end up over turning because I have to use excessive force to turn. The problem has not been confirmed by the dealer or inspected by anyone but myself. Yes, there were warning lights as stated earlier. The brake system light and a few other lights came on after the incident.

-??"BREAK SYSTEM" light appeared while driving and is available for inspection. -??My risk was high due to the fact of "BRAKE SYSTEM" and "SEE YOUR DEALER" message. -??Honda dealership confirmed of a gearbox issue and recommended not to drive it due to the fact that the steering wheel can lock at anytime during driving. -??I noticed my steering wheel was very sensative and starting hearing a clicking noise during driving.

Less than 5,000 miles on car. Brake pedal, when pushing it down, began to vibrate / not go down smoothly. After a couple days of this, my brakes made a loud grinding sound when stopping or releasing the brake. Normally brakes will start to squeak before you reach a grinding sound. Again, less than 5,000 miles on this car, so way too soon to be dealing with this issue. Wiper fluid for the front has NEVER worked, even when full. It works for the back. I asked the techs who changed my oil to check it out and they could not find the issue; they recommended I take it to the dealership and suggested it may be a recall. I am getting it serviced tomorrow at a Honda service repair location near me. They said they will cover it since it is under the 3 year / 36,000 mile warranty. I hope that is true.

The car was parked in a safe location over night. When I attempted to start it in the morning the car ran poorly and displayed numerous warning light on the dash including evap control, brakes, steering, and various automated systems. Upon calling the dealer I was told to it was not safe to drive and to have it towed to the dealer. Which I did.

When I am driving my steering wheel is sticky, wonders left and right and I keep having to correct the steering it feels like the steering where clicks back and forth with no sound it does not drive safe and it is hard to turn the steering wheel. Yesterday I was driving on the freeway and out of no where the brake light on the dash popped up 3 times and the car started to pull. When I turn on the lane assist a different time the brake like on the dash came on and it pulled to the right hard. This is very scary and unsafe! I just bought this car and the steering wheel issues needs fixing very scary and unsafe to drive there needs to be a recall.

On Friday January 27th, I was driving approximately 65mph when the steering wheel got stuck to the right, causing me to run off the road. I hit a rut where the road meets the grass and it caused a couple of my wheel weights to fall off. Initially the lane keep was on, but I turned it off as it started pulling to the right. The car still proceeded to pull continuously until I cut it off, and then started to appear to work normally for a short period afterwards. The steering wheel already sticks in the center on most days. Now, there-€™s issues stopping, I-€™m guessing from the rut I hit. The dealer that I bought it from swears that there-€™s nothing wrong with the vehicle and that I-€™m just a difficult customer. I-€™ve already had it up to the dealership 5 times. There-€™s 88 other people already who agree with me. I have a case with American Honda Corporate, but they only agree with what the dealer tells them. This poses a major safety hazard, and it needs to be recalled before someone gets killed.

Brakes are relatively hard to press and bring the car to stop, the pedal is also located high, and as an Uber driver it makes it difficult to brake constantly. I am getting knee pain and foot pain. Driver seat is very uncomfortable specially when driving for too long. It doesn't have lumbar support and is giving me lower back pain, my back compresses down and collapses into the section where there's no lumbar support. I feel like my disk is getting hurt. The seat is built in an angel. if I bring the seat low, my last bone of spine goes into the seat and hurts. if I bring the seat high, I get hip pain. The steering is somehow stiff to rotate even with lane departure being turned off. I am getting finger joint pain and elbow pain.

The contact owns a 2022 Honda Civic. The contact stated while driving approximately 20 MPH, the Forward Collision Avoidance; Emergency Automatic Braking activated inadvertently without a vehicle being nearby. The contact stated that the brake pads made a loud grinding sound. The brake warning light and alarm was activated. The vehicle had not been taken to the dealer to be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 27,000.

Twice while using the Adaptive cruise control on the interstate my vehicle gave me a "BRAKE" warning and automatically applied hard braking on my vehicle even though this was at 0430 in the morning and no cars present on the interstate. I too pressed the brake and cancel on the steering wheel to try and disengage the Adaptive cruise control, so I could regain control of my vehicle. The first time it happened, it caught me off guard. The second time it happened, I was waiting for it. I drove with my hand able to disengage cruise control as soon as it would happen. This was an attempt to verify if the first time was a fluke or if there was a real problem. I have not used my cruise control since because I cannot trust it. Luckily these were when the traffic was light on the interstate and it did not cause a wreck.

I was driving at 75MPH in Adaptive Cruise Control. The closest car in front or beside me was at least 1/4 mile away. The weather was perfect, no rain, wind, etc. Just sunshine. Without Notice, the car automatically braked, the BRAKE light showed up in the dash. The braking period lasted about two seconds during which time inertia slammed me forward. Fortunately there were no cars immediately in back of me or I no doubt probably would have been rear-ended. I did not step on the brake pedal or the gas pedal during this period. My vehicle is scheduled to be at the Dealers Service Center in 6 days but with all the intermittent issues I am having with this vehicle, I am sure they will say they cannot replicate the problem. My assumption is that the forward collision system intermittently axctivated.

Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) has been randomly shutting off out of nowhere during my drive. This has been happening off and on for two months and is NOT happening due to the reasons it could happen in the owners manual. It will not turn back on unless I pull over and shut off the car or place the transmission into park which forces me to leave a highway. Today without ACC even on I get 5 warnings including collision mitigation brake system failure and to see a dealer (pictures attached for all 5 warnings that came on the dashboard today). I saw Rudolph Honda in El Paso TX today and the service center lady told me she is aware of this problem and already tried to diagnose another 2022 Civic with no luck and there are no rentals to help me leave my car for further diagnostics and i cannot be seen for a week at Borman Honda in Las Cruces NM nearby where I live. So Honda is putting me out for my time and money i give them for this faulty ACC and related safety systems. I feel unsafe as this shuts off out of no where and could cause me to get rear-ended as last time this happened the car suddenly decelerated with someone behind me. This car is available for inspection.
