braking system warnings and possibility of brake failure warning. Dealership thought it was sensor issue and replaced sensors but it happened again and I-??m also experiencing a phenomenon referred to as -??phantom braking-?? as my car will stop as if an object is directly in front of me while I-??m driving, which has happened a few times on the interstate now and I-??m afraid to drive. This is a serious safety risk for all involved.

Car automatically stopped abruptly when a car in oncoming traffic turned a safe distance ahead of me. I was in the process of slowing down and was in no danger of being too close to the car in front of me. Nearly got rear ended.

The contact owns a 2024 Honda Civic. The contact stated that the brakes made a squeaking sound while reversing. The contact stated that the failure only occurred after starting the vehicle for the first time in the day. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed with moisture on the brakes; however, no repair was recommended. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 3,500.
