I drove home from work and parked it at the usual place within the residential area parking space. I don't like electronic parking brake but I always make sure I have it double checked every time, like yesterday on 20/06/19 in the 9 month old Honda civic hatchback 1.6 EX. I had parked - my dash cam recorded me as I was double checking and electronic parking break was on. After 2-3 mins later someone walks on the pavement with his headphone off and the car starts to roll forward toward him and goes over the pavement and hits the 1 up vw from the side and it keeps going over the pavement straight into the field and crashed against the tree. I thought at first someone stole the car via keyless entry hack but I am still shocked this has happened while parking brake was on. You can not disengage parking brakes like unless break pedal is pressed. I think there is a fault in the car electrical system.
