poor cooling and defrost issue

Could not figure out why the defroster was not working on the passenger side. Didn't seem to be cooling as well as summer went on, but it has been one HOT summer in Florida. Dealer checked and discovered Freon low. I had a 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid and NEVER had issue with AC. Dealer told me "it happens", did dye test, "didn't find a leak" and replaced Freon. Besides being s**y for the environment, this is a real PIA to deal with in FL, not knowing if AC will quit. Luckily the defrost issue was on the passenger side, otherwise, a HUGE hazard to safety.
