Civic Hybrid EXL

  • CVT transmission
  • 49,000 miles

The battery in the car would not take a jump. I had the car towed to the Honda dealership and they determined the battery purchased in January was dead and not taking a charge. They replaced the battery free of charge. They claimed to have tested everything else and could find no issues causing the battery to fail.

Car would not start without a jump 2 times in 2 weeks. Took it to Honda dealer and they determined the battery failed and sold me a new one. That battery was 6 months old. The original battery lasted from July 2015 to July 2020. I bought a replacement at AutoZone. That battery was determined to be dead and was replaced at my expense.
