The contact owns a 2013 Honda Crosstour. The contact stated that while attempting to start the vehicle, the vehicle made grinding noises and hesitated to start. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. Upon investigation, the contact related the failure to a faulty starter. The failure mileage was approximately 125,000.

The contact owns a 2013 Honda Crosstour. After starting the vehicle, a grinding noise was heard from the front of the vehicle. The contact mentioned that the vehicle had to be restarted every time for the noise to stop. The failure recurred numerous times. In addition, the vehicle failed to operate. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the starter needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 100,000.
